    Match Preview
Collingwood take on the Western Bulldogs in the second Qualifying Final with the Bulldogs seemingly struggling to overcome injuries while the Pies suffered their first loss in 12 games last week and will be desperate to push into a Preliminary Final after a dominant season.

Collingwood run was brought to a halt at the hands of Hawthorn on the weekend with the Pies inaccuracy in front of goal handing them a three point loss. The Pies are heavy favorites at $1.27 which is more than justified given the Pies have defeated the Bulldogs twice this season albeit by narrow margins. They will however need to address their kicking issues which ultimately cost them against the Hawks last week. Question marks will remain over a shoulder injury to Alan Didak and an ankle injury to Simon Prestigiacomo however the Pies have plenty of depth.

Western Bulldogs will commence their finals campaign on the back of a solid 29 point win against the Bombers however the game has come at a cost with a number of Bulldogs under injury clouds, Ryan Griffen, Brad Johnson and Brian Lake could join a host of Bulldogs on the sidelines. Importantly though Shaun Higgins will return while the form of Jarrad Grant who kicked six goals and combined well with Barry Hall (4 goals) is an encouraging sign. Surprisingly the Bulldogs are at the long odds of $3.80 which is a stark contrast from a side who dominated the Preseason competition to be installed as Premiership favorites.

    Verdict
Collingwood have been the most impressive side in the second half of the season however have seemingly dropped off the pace win a narrow win against Adelaide at the MCG followed by a loss to the Hawks last week. If the Bulldogs can pile on the pressure early cracks may appear in the Pies confidence but it will be a tough ask with a host of star Bulldogs missing.

My Tip – Collingwood by 32 points
