EPL 2010/11 - Game Week 3

Game Week 3 in the English Premier League this week features all 20 teams in battle again over 10 games. Tips and Predictions will be tough with past results so far this season pointing towards a run away top 4. The winless treble in Stoke, WestHam and Wigan will have their work cut out for them again this week as they face Chelsea, Man United and Tottenham respectively. Also worth noting, some huge scores have been registered thus far, and I can see this week producing similar scorelines and high scoring once again. It's hard to pick a stand out Game Of The Week, but I think the Bolton (5th) v Birmingham (6th) game will be very important for the development of both sides, with the winner looking at entering the top 4 if Man City draw or lose to Sunderland. The other game that will be interesting to see, is the Blackpool v Fulham game. This will mark the official first home game at Bloomfield Road for Blackpool, and a result against Fulham is more than possible. Here's the full fixture for this week:

Damn you Fulham, damn you to hell!!! A late goal to Etuhu spoiled the homecoming for Blackpool who had come from behind earlier on. Good result for both sides I guess, not so much for me (See my tips!) Chelsea only managed 2 goals this week, Arsenal bought home a win away (Nice result for me!), Wigan upset Tottenham 0-1 and Wolves/Newcastle played out a 1-1 draw.

Andrew Carroll is looking to be a goal machine for Newcastle this year, that's 4 goals in 2 games now! Drogba and Malouda both scored for Chelsea to increase their goal tallies for the year, Lampard missed a penalty in the 11th minute - not like him to miss an easy one?!
