    EPL 2010/11 - Game Week 2

After a few mixed results in the opening round, we head straight into Week 2 of the EPL. Some great games coming up with newcomers Blackpool kicking off against much stronger opposition in Arsenal this week, along with West Brom hosting Sunderland, and Newcastle hosting Aston Villa. Chelsea could be looking at the biggest start to an EPL season ever as they may fire against a very poor Wigan outfit. The big game in my mind though is the Man City v Liverpool game, which may answer a few early season questions in regards to which way these teams are headed in 2010/11...

    Gameweek 2 Scheduled Games:
    • Arsenal v Blackpool
    • Birmingham v Blackburn
    • Everton v Wolves
    • Stoke City v Tottenham
    • West Brom v Sunderland
    • West Ham v Bolton
    • Wigan v Chelsea
    • Newcastle v Aston Villa
    • Fulham v Man Utd
    • Man City v Liverpool
As always, the English Premier League season will be featured on PunterZone from Week 1 until the end, so why not join in and sign up as a member? Make your comments and views known and help us all find a few winners along the way!

I'll follow up with my tips, bets, exotics and *Big Play* predictions a little later in the week... Until then... Good luck and enjoy!

A few interesting games this weekend as always. Be interesting to see how Blackpool handle going to the Emirates. Remember Arsenal have previous to some extent here having lost to Hull at home a couple of years back...

Chelsea should smack Wigan into next week...United lost to Fulham away last season, but that was with a ridiculous makeshift back line (De Laet, Carrick and Fletcher(?) at the back, something like that anyway). Mark Hughes in charge at Fulham now so he'll be pumped to try and do something against his old side.

A gut feeling at this point, but something tells me Stoke may well be capable of taking Spurs out. Tottenham will have one eye on making the Champions League, and Stoke are capable of taking big scalps at home.

Agree with GameTipper...anyone reading this who hasn't joined the forum yet...come on in and let us know your thoughts...we won't bite! Much

You'd think that would be the case, but strange things happen in these types of games where one team is expected to flog another, quite often it never eventuates. This would be one match that id stay away from i reckon.

Sunderland appear awesome value away to WBA at $2.85. Sunderland are a team that i think could be on the rise this year and the way WBA played last week (lost 0-6) gives me more confidence.

Man Utd to score in both halves @ 2.82?

That's an insane bet imo GT, but good luck...
