Just 10 hours or so to go... I finally got my crappy team together! Guess I'll be using my wild card early this year! LOL

So we have 26 in the league - come on people, plenty of time yet, come join in!

if i thought my lil kelpie was doing it tough with 3 legs then the kelpie wanderers only got stumps, made changes as half my team doesnt wanna play, bit behind the 8 ball with some of the players but hopefully il crank it up a notch and find a home a few spots higher. haha bit of a gun there ned eh

Yup, after rushing to put a side together, and many not performing well, I started transferring all over the place and spent a whole heap of points... built up a but of a bank and have just swapped around heaps of players and used my Wild Card. It's going to be a very long season... *sighs*

And another stat that's worth looking at is where our league is compared to the rest of the world. PunterZone League (ranked 10,444 out of 202,636). If we can get that number down to 5000 I'd be happy.

Nice one Ned, your doing pretty well yourself, and considering how many teams there are, we're doing pretty well already! We're sure to end up in the top 5000!

My lofty placing of 22/28 is kinda embarrassing! Early season so far - plenty of time to kick some butt! hehehe If everyone fine tunes their teams, we'll all be scoring that 60-70 per week which tends to get you climbing upwards. Just be careful spending too many points trading, I've already dug a hole for myself and have used my Wild Card after making 7 changes at full cost (Duh I know)... But I know I have a very solid team now which will be worth it later on - I hope!

Nice week for me this week! Topped our group with 89pts and jumped up a massive 747,443 places in the overall players list to 361,778th place. Was also ranked 4,735 out of 2,150,527 players for this round! My Wild Card was well spent a couple of weeks ago. The only issue now - what to do with Theo Walcott who's been sitting on my bench taking up a midfield spot at $7.1 million for the past 2 weeks?!
