St KildaNortherly was always a favourite of mine, but more recently it would have to be the crowd favourite Apache Cat, always an excitement machine and what a big strapping boy he is!
My favourite horse getting around now would have to be Star Spangled Banner, or Spanner as we like to call him, only a youngin and already showing a LOT of potential!

Yep, of the current crop I like Starspangledbanner a lot too. There's something about chestnuts I've always liked. One of my fave horses in England (called Milan) was a chestnut with white feet. They look cool.
Weekend Hussler was a fave too - hopefully he'll be back to his best in the spring, but I doubt it.
Of the retired ones it's gotta be Sunline, what a hero, one of the higest earning fillies of all time and a pure class act
Northerly was always a favourite of mine, used to love watching it. Even used to have posters of Northerly up on the wall.
Favourite current horse probably would be Demerit.

Fav retired horse?? Denman after that today!!! Nah I always liked the hussler but I think he's gonna be retired soon
I got a framed picture of Weekend Hussler in my lounge. Always remember the first time i saw him run live when i was up at the Slipepr back in 2008 at Rosehill. Run a monster race and went on to 6 Group 1's that season from memory.
He injured himself last Autumn and has not come back the same. Be interesting to see how his Spring campagn goes, but the signs aren't great.

CarltonMy favourite would have to be Salated Sluth cause he was a sensation on my Facebook HorseRacing game!
Not sure if anyone has heard of them but my favourites are St Andrews and Royal Rambo. Being from tassie these horses are legends down there. Royal Rambo was probably the greatest WFA horse in tasmania for the last 2 decades, the way he would just demolish his opposition was brilliant. St Andrews was a champion Tasmanian also, bought for around $200 i think not even intended for racing this horse went on to win 2 Launceston Cups (and a couple placings) and a Hobart Cup (Also 2 more placings). They were 2 greats of the Mowbray track who were almost racing in the same era, an era that has to go down as one of the greatest in tassie racing with all of the great horses going around
