About StatZone

StatZone (http://www.statzone.com.au) was released towards the end of 2007 and has quickly forged a reputation as Australia's number one sports statistics websites. We provide detailed stats on AFL Football, NBL and NBA Basketball, as well as the worlds best domestic soccer leagues.

There are many projects currently in the pipeline for StatZone which include NRL Rugby being added to our list of sports, as well as Gridiron, Tennis and Motor Sport down the track.

StatZone is one of the only sites of its kind on the internet in Australia and as time goes on, we will continually be improving our service, so be sure to keep a close eye on the site.

You can use this section of the forum to post any questions you may have about anything thats printed on StatZone, or any requests you might have. You may wish to see a particular stat for a particular sport, so this is the place you can contact us and we will try and make it happen.

Hi Wolverine,

Welcome to the forum mate! To answer your question, yes, it is still under development. We're aiming to release the new version a week before the new seasons begins in a couple of weeks. It should look stacks better compared to the old one (if you remember it).

Will keep you guys posted in this thread, but here is a little glimpse of what it will look like

looks pretty sweet
I didn't see the last one, was it team-related or more individual player-related (like the graphic above)?

Was a bit of both, but probably more team related than player related. Trying to make this one a little more detailed, but still keeping it simple so its easy to digest. Once it is up we'll ask for feedback on how to improve it, so if there is anything your after we can try to accommodate.

Will be plenty of graphs and stuff.

This will be live, hopefully this week and definately before Round 1.

We're going to add more stuff during the season, so hoping for people to let us know what kind of stats they'd like to see to help them pick bets. Can pretty much stick anything up there stats wise so let us know what you'd like to see once the site's fully live :)

Will let ya's all know when it is (Y)

Looking forward to this, from the screenshot it looks the goods :D

I've used sites like footywire and finalsiren (my fav) before, but I dunno, they are a bit boring and text based...this looks a bit more interactive. :)

Any other good AFL stats sites that people know of?

Whats everyone think? :o

http://www.statzone.com.au

I reckon the best pages are the Head To Head preview pages, like for example take a look at the Carlton vs Richmond (http://statzone.com.au/afl/preview/carlton-v-richmond) preview. Has almost everything you could want in terms of a betting preview

We want to get a little bit of feedback. Is the site easy to navigate? Is there anything you'd change? What do you think of the info? etc. It isn't 100% ready yet, it is still a work in progress and you will probably find some bugs, but we are working hard on ironing everything out for the start of the season.

It's very good. Here are some suggestions/queries:

1) Add a Legend describing what colours mean. I still don't know what scores in red mean.

2) The "Select a Club" at a particular Venue is a very good feature but it seems very buggy. Some clubs display while others don't. eg. go to Etihad and select Saints or North (amongst others) and nothing displays.

3) "Contact" & "About Us" pages would be useful.

Cheers
